At the end of 2006 we conducted a small survey of the Waiau Pa members. Some interesting results:

  • The thing "most" people voted for as the thing they enjoy most in Taekwon-Do was...TOURNAMENTS (closely followed by Patterns & Social)
  • And the worst...most of the votes were for THEORY.

Mr Jackson won BEST MALE BLACK BELT at the 2nd Oceania Championships on the weekend of 23rd and 24th October 2004. Over 200 competitors from Australia and New Zealand took part in the event, and Mr Jackson won his division in sparring, patterns and power breaking. Assistant Instructor Mr Steve Morris also did well, winning his patterns division, 2nd in Sparring and 3rd in Special Techniques.
